What is System Lock?
System Lock is a productivity and focus app that blocks distracting apps on your iPhone. To unlock them, you complete real-world quests — earning XP and leveling up your discipline along the way.
Why does System Lock need Screen Time permission?
System Lock uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to block the apps you choose. This permission is required for app blocking to work. Your app usage data is processed on your device — see our Privacy Policy for details.
App blocking isn't working. What should I check?
- Make sure you granted Screen Time permission when prompted. You can verify under Settings → Screen Time on your device.
- Confirm you've selected at least one app to block inside System Lock.
- Restart the app, or restart your device if the issue persists.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. To manage or cancel, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, select System Lock, and choose the option you want. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases made through the App Store are refunded by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and submit a refund request for your System Lock purchase.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete your account from within the app, or email us at support@systemlock.appand we'll process the deletion for you. See our Privacy Policyfor what data we hold and how it's handled.
